I had a vague recollection that I had something published by the late Robert Wenzel of Economic Policy Journal. So I went hunting for it. It looks like I am thinking of something else.

However, EPJ did publish my open letter (as edited and published by the Loyola University Maroon) to the then-Loyola University president Fr. Kevin Wildes, SJ in defense of professor Dr. Walter Block.

Tom Woods graciously shared the unedited letter here.

But the really great endorsement comes from my old friend “Anonymous” writing to EPJ in response to my letter. And this is awesome!

Pastor Larry L. Beane II’s lengthy diatribe/rant is just an ad hominem attack because he cannot discuss anything with anyone in a civilized manner. He even stoops so low so as to attack a person, a University, a priest, and the Roman Catholic Church itself. He is a raving madman and has too much time on his hands.

Of all of my endorsements and “love mail,” this has to be one of the best. It is so oblivious of its own Chestertonian-level irony that it almost rises to the status of a proverb.

This is pure gold. I should use it as my bio. 😂
