I have been very sad and disappointed to see almost nothing being said about the serious problems with these essays ( except from Gottesdienst) It seems like the LCMS has all but beaten our faithful pastors into quiet submission. Carrie…you don’t know me but I wanted to tell you that gender dysphoria destroyed what was left of my family in 2014. I can speak with authority on the evil. It is soul crushing to see our church body be so desensitized to this carnage. I will pray for you and your family.

In your reference to pedophelia being child rape, the Old Testament had execution in many instances of rape.
